About our cause
The Welsh Inclusion Sports Association CIC is United to Enable and Empower change. Through sharing and exchanging skills in sports, leisure, education, vocational training and volunteering initiatives.
Creating Opportunities by Work, Education, Building Skills. We build on ability, not disability which not only connects communities but enables and empowers change through supporting and working together.
All our Board and directors are volunteers and have disabilities or carers. Using our skills knowledge and experiences we can provide solutions to the many barriers faced by disabled and socially excluded members of the community in ensuring Nobody is left on the bench
By Building on Ability not disability we will provide opportunities and Initiatives that will enable and empower change by sharing skills and knowledge. And create solutions to over come the many barriers faced by disabled and social excluded members of the community ensuring no-one is left on the bench. We have developed ground break skills assessments and classifications to enable everyone to succeed .
By using our own experiences of the barriers and hurdles we have faced in accessing Sport Education Vocational Training and Employment opportunities has enabled us to listening share skills knowledge,producing various training programmes in accessible formats for all participants, members
We believe through our recent achievements and our planned initiatives and projects we have the the opportunity not only build on our success but provide new and exciting projects, initiatives, and opportunities in Sport, Education, Vocational Training and Employment. By listening and developing and sharing skills through building on a person's Ability not their disabilty through working together you can create change. We believe by equipping the individual with the skills and knowledge of what they can do has led to our members supporting various volunteering opportunities with in the Community and trained to support and deliver our various outreach activities . Transforming Lives.Welsh Inclusion Sports Association CIC provides a much loved and valued service for the community.
